One of the best Nikons ever made.

I purchased this camera body and also bought an 18-140 mm Nikkor lens to go with it. That's the perfect combination for me--one camera body and one lens. The camera has exceeded my expectations on quality of photos both in RAW and JPEG. Placement of the various controls are easily found so that one can concentrate on photographing rather than on camera settings. I also have access to Nikon's D610 pro camera, but I find I actually like the D7100 as well. That's assuming one doesn't need a full frame camera. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this camera sooner.
