Super quality, super sounds.
1 of 2 found this helpful Having owned several Roberts radios over a period of years I was well aware of the quality and high standards you would expect from this company. I wanted a mid priced DAB radio to run on batteries to use while "pottering" about, and the size, price and portability of the RD-45 seemed ideal. I certainly am not disappointed, the radio looks excellent, it is constructed from quality materials, and as you would expect from a Roberts, the sound is rich and clear whether listening to a whole spectrum of programmes ranging from conversation or classic rock, there is no vibration or tinniness when the volume is increased, listening to this radio is a pleasure. Would I recommend it? Most certainly, it compares favourably with another Roberts I own that cost nearly three times as much as the RD-45. Buy with confidence and enjoy!

An excellent addition.
1 of 1 found this helpful As a long standing fan of Roberts radios for many years I had no hesitation in purchasing a Stream 93i. The product lived up to it's reviews, however it had one fault, this being its lack of portability. Having recently purchased the battery pack for the 98i, this in my opinion is problem solved. It now frees the radio from being tied to a mains connection and gives the user the freedom to transport it anywhere. The battery pack is what you would expect, Robert's quality, easy to install, simple to use, and complementary to the radio itself. Most importantly it does not reduce the quality of the sound. The acoustically tuned cabinet still provides a rich tone whether listening to music or speech. So all in all an excellent product that enhances an already excellent radio. So if it's portability you need don't hesitate to invest in the battery pack.

Excellent product
These are undoubtedly the best strings I have found for my ukuleles. Consistently holding their tuning, long lasting and reliable. Definitely recommend.
