A brilliantly packaged album that's slick and full of little gems
A great work by this alternative, creative force - with a cast of high profile musicians dropping by to add their touch

On every shelf...
The last effort by the giants of slick rock is well worth adding to your collection. Knopfler's country obsessions do sneak through, but are acquitted expertly. There are some fun rockers in there, but the highlights have to be Calling Elvis, the title track and Planet of New Orleans - listen to Mark let rip on the outro guitar solo of this quirky, atmospheric, sleazy blues. And then there are Fade to Black and You and You're Friend - classy masterclasses in rousing, minimalist, electric blues.

Great value
A solid product that's a third of the price of many high street shops
