Great for general photography but excellent for street.

I use this with my X Pro-2, and I love this combination for street photography. Great contrast, sharpness, and great for both color and B&W, but I favor this lens for B&W. Recommend using this lens on second gen bodies to ensure good focus speed.

Excellent protection for the front objective of the lens but...

This filter yields a slight (very slight) umph to my color photos. I havent yet tried B&W images. I recommend this product.

Less costly alternative lens with very satisfactory results

Very shaped lens excellent color and contrast. Was considering the older 35mm f/1.4, but this lens, though slower, is far less expensive and I really dont miss the f/1.4 max aperture, 95% of the time.
