Ha'peth of Tar badly needed!
Have used the clogs for exactly two years. First off, they are clogs so are noisy on wooden floors. More problematically I have had to repair the soles time and again after the first three months to keep them going - it started with minor repairs to stop the edge peeling away and causing me to trip before major surgery when the whole sole started to give way. I am not heavy on my feet, and only wear them about an hour or two every day in the kitchen and have never experienced this with other shoes. This failure to apply a strong factory bond to the sole is a shame as the top has lasted quite well. Spoiling the ship for want of tar comes to mind.

Solid & Reassuring
Have you inherited a flimsy 70s style plastic covered 5 pin DIN connector on the end of a foot switch cable or somewhere else that get frequently use? Do yourself a favour and bin it before it bins you. Buy this, feel its reassuring heavy duty construction, get out your soldering iron, tighten it up with the screw and sleep well at night knowing you will be long gone before it fails.
Don't pass 5 pin connectivity problems down to your kids.
