Anticlimactic
1 of 1 found this helpful The game had huge marketing pre-release but doesn’t deliver all that was anticipated. Firstly the campaign story seemed to be tossed aside to focus more on the online multiplayer play. The story ends suddenly with a lot of plot holes leaving the player wondering ‘what happens to that character?’ or ‘how did the war end?’. I’m not for one second thinking that this game should be educative at all, but the story seems unfinished completely.
Now onto online play. There seems to be fantastic features added, such as the headquarter and the scorestreaks tester, but everything relies on the servers. It’s a shame that everything about this game is from 1945, including the servers. I’ve had 2 games so far on multiplayer which I have successfully played from start to finish. I have yet to find someone else in headquarters and I haven’t managed to finish a game of zombies yet.
Onto zombies, though I have yet to discover all of the content or play through the entire notebook entries, this side of the game is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy the incorporation of the guns of that time; the terrifying, jump-scare-full, eerie atmosphere; and David Tennant!!!
Reviewing the actual service of Activision’s dispatch and packaging, I’m mostly impressed. The game game on time (in 3 days) and it came nicely wrapped. It did not come with a receipt however, which was worrying more so when I picked the case up (still with the plastic protective packaging on) and I could hear the disc rattling inside. My heart sank and I was forced to video the unwrapping as I was scared I may have been presented with a scratched disk.

Tacky
Idea is great but the actual product is tacky and if you scratch too hard you go through the underlaying cover- and 'too hard' isn't really that hard at all.
