Fun Little Book
I bought this for my grand son's birthday. He just turned five. My first thought was, "I didn't know this was a board book. He's too old for this." But he sat right down and paged through it. When things calmed down, I offered to read it to him and he was still and paid attention the whole time. Turns out my 32-year-old son was also listening. It was a fun little book.

Good Series
It was a good series but you really need to read it in order.
I'm sick of stories where the main character doesn't know who they are and have no idea how to deal with their supernatural abilities. Meg is uneducated, but not stupid. She is not whiny, and she is well aware of her powers and their limitations. She knows where she came from and she doesn't want to go back.
