Lamson #DH853E Musical Door Chime
2 of 2 found this helpful The door chime has a good variety of tunes.
But we cannot get the chime to work without batteries, which wear out quickly in two weeks. We have tried all described electrical connections, and may need an electrician. We do not have a lighted doorbell that would cause this problem.
Also, the plastic cover is very flimsy. The swinging plastic door only opens halfway. It broke off when we opened it wide to read the tiny instructions inside. We now use tape to keep it together. Also, the inside dials have white raised notations which are very hard to read against the white plastic. There is no contrast.
But we want to keep the chime for its many tunes, which we like to change each month.

Nice Outdoor storage
Nice addition to our patio to store outside holiday decorations and exterior extension cords. But you need to secure it during high winds.

Not what I expected
Looks like I'm wearing two saddle bags. No uplift. Will probably donate this.
