Walking stick with torch - Ace!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as present for my friend's 80th birthday- it is absolutely brilliant. It's so stable with its special base so no longer is there a periodic crash when the ordinary walking stick would have fallen down; any trip out in the dark means that there is light around without using up a spare hand for a separate torch; and it folds down to be compact in its own little bag. Now all the other residents want one as well. The only slight downside is that when it arrived, I left my friend to open it, and we both had to have a laugh as on the box it announced the name as The Elderly Crutch!! Not very sensitively thought out - but it is excellent even so.

Worked well
Amazing how one of the bags plus a suitably sized bucket worked very well in the middle of the night, rather than going outside to use a Portaloo!!

Vaccum packing or not
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered these after a friend said they had used them a lot. The bags are good quality but having tried packing with them, I have decided to go back to rolling my holiday packings, then you can also fit things together in nooks & crannies. The bags are bulky and take up more room than I had expected. They have a place but not on My holidays!! Probably more use for storing bedding etc.
