Beautiful rendition of familiar and lesser known melodies, excellent value
This is a lovely CD, of which I had become aware, but had found it to be rather expensive. Obtaining it on ebay permitted me to have it at a reasonable figure.

Lovely CD to own.
This CD was bought as a replacement for the LP version I had long owned. This is a perfect replacement.

As British as pie and mash, an aptly chosen title.
If you are a certain age, you are bound to find this generous selection of light music appealing for its hugely nostalgic element, making the pieces not only a pleasure to listen to, but also evocative. The CDs are full of music, often used by the BBC to introduce its legendary radio and TV programmes through the post war period and years way beyond.
