These strap blocks (locks) should be titled "crap blocks." Worthless and useless. You get what you pay for. Rubber blocks will easily pop off strap, resulting in your guitar falling off guitar strap (if strap hole is worn out for certain guitars). Fortunately had fast physical reaction, which I caught guitar in time. Not recommended, especially if you have an expensive and/or rare guitar/s. Better to invest in high quality strap locks, or replace guitar strap.

Thin Lizzy-Black Rose (UK IMPORT) CD NEW
20 Oct, 2016
Remaster was not as good as expected
Had purchased this CD for three reasons. First off...personally the Thin Lizzy Black Rose CD/LP is my personal favorite out off all Thin Lizzy releases with Phil Lynott. Secondly, had the fortune to see the Black Rose stellar historic tour/ concert (Day On The Green 7-4-79), which was Gary Moore's last performance due to a big blow out after the show...backstage with Phil Lynott. One can view and/or purchase my concert work from that concert at Fine Art America website by typing in search: Thin Lizzy. Third, the main fact which I was expecting this remaster version to be sonic-ally better than my UK remastered Vertigo release, along with bonus disc.
To my disappointment this release was not sonic-ally as good as the Vertigo Remaster release, which is older than this Deluxe Edition. It was not quite as full sounding/tad less bottom end, bit more flat, compared to the Vertigo UK import. Also the time code is shorter than the Vertigo release. This release time code is 38:34. The Vertigo release is 38:49.
Summery: One would expect the right group of audio people involved with this release to passionately give justice to this band, when coming out with a cool Deluxe Edition. Also the full proper time code (38:49). Unfortunately this label and the people who were involved, falls short on this epic historic release from Thin Lizzy. The only thing done right was the bonus disc with all unreleased tracks. Reason I give it three out of five stars. If the bonus disc wasn't included, it would have been two stars.

Anthony Phillips - Wise After The Event (CD 2008)
Wise After The Event has always been one of my all time favorite LPs by Anthony Phillips, besides "The Goose & the Geese." I now have both of the 2008 remasters, with bonus demos/disc. The demos discs are worth purchasing these along, never mind the stellar work Anthony did in regards to the state of art upgrade in the remastering process end, compared to original release. Enjoy both of these timeless master pieces, with some good 'ole vintage tube amplification, state of the art 24 bit HDCD/CD player, and some good speakers!
Highest regards,
Daniel Lars...aka, "analog artist."
