WOW! Blown away by the excellent quality and sound.
1 of 1 found this helpful Having owned a professional Yamaha alto sax, I wasn't expecting much from a budget saxophone. But, I got to say, this has to be the best budget sax I have ever played! The build quality was excellent and the fit and finish was also right on the money. There was absolutely no adjustments that I had to make to any of the keys or pads. The sound quality is pretty balanced. Not too bright or too muffled. Also, excellent action on the key springs. Did I mention the case? Well, the case is great! It's not some cheap flimsy case that may last a few months. They did a great job on the case as well. When closed, everything in the case is very secured. If you're looking for a budget saxophone and would like the sound and quality of a more expensive saxophone, I highly recommend the Jean Paul AS400 Alto Saxophone.
