The car that 'conkered' the world.
A thoroughly enjoyable read. Can a book on Land Rovers be 'unputdownable' ?
Yes.
Wide ranging and informative without being the least bit 'anoracky'. A romp through Land Rover land.
The only issue that I have would be the number of typos in the text. It gives the impression of never having been proof read, which is a shame given how good a read it is.
I would certainly recommend this book.

stylish and economical
Obviously peoples tastes differ, but, if you're looking at this then you already think that it has something about it.
We've just bought our sixth, seventh, and eighth ceiling lights in this style. In our view they are stylish, well constructed, economical, and are straightforward to install.

Great undemanding entertainment
Good swashbuckling stuff. Historically, pretty accurate. Credible story lines and engaging characters. Is Admiral Pellew actually Hornblowers Dad ? Hmm.
