Delatronics Ltd is my company name formed in 1997 in the UK (this is a personal account however and not a business one). I have been a senior service engineer since 1988 in the electronic Musical instrument industry, which includes digital, tape, transistor and valve technologies. I am now back in the UK after some time in Brazil and have a service centre in Bletchley, Milton Keynes UK. All items sold on eBay are available directly from Delatronics without BPF!

    A superb cd player after service and modification. This now my choice from my small collection of vintage players and indeed a fairly recent Marantz KI Ruby limited edition. Packing was well done including a set of transport screws, often a rare inclusion with vintage players together this ensured it arrived exactly as described. Postage is fair for the express service selected and the robust weight of the CD104. Excellent value for money and a perfect transaction.

Great Mechanism with Valve Sound
These are old machines and use valves, so they will need to be maintained more than the solid state 1720/21/22 versions. The mechanism is largely the same as all the other reliable Akais. Once serviced, the valves sound clearer and more involving than the solid state versions albeit with a slight background hum. The 1710L version is gorgeous in it's battleship grey, but owning one of these beauties will involve some occasional maintenance to the valves. I have a high end Professional Tascam which is huge and does the serious 10.5 inch spools at 7.5 and 15 IPS, but this is my go to machine for the slower speeds, in order to hear what gems are recorded on the used tapes I buy from Ebay!

Excellent BT amplifier
This is an excellent sounding amp based on a TPA3116, works really well, I bought another Nobsound amp based on this chip and it is superb.
