Very Good Value with Good Components
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price, this radio works very well and has some very good components. The speaker sounds great, the analog tuner is nice and smooth, the antenna works quite well, and the volume knob and switch is smooth and responsive. Plastics aren't the best quality, but it's consistent and meets ISO9001 standards
I just wish it came with the option to plug in a power adapter, which it clearly used to as the mold shows, the circuitry just wasn't built in. I would also really like a 3.5mm audio out, in case I want to use headphones or output to a speaker. Maybe these features could be included in a premium model that comes with a power adapter and uses better quality plastics or even metal for the speaker grill and frame.
