Old Model Works Better Than The Newer Models!
This is a nice compromise between small cheap sharpeners and large heavy-duty models for the whole office. Makes sharp points but not too sharp. Well-built durable feel. I went out of my way to find this 50 year old model because I remember how well it worked at college when folks really used a lot of wooden pencils. It is another example of where the old stuff seems to work better than the newer models.
