A convenient and neat improvement for laptop sound.
This is a handy little speaker with reasonable quality sound - certainly better/louder than my laptop's own speakers. A great plus point is that it has its own volume controls on the top, which can be a boon if you record sound and are unable to adjust the sound with your laptop's own controls without affecting the recording, which can be the case with some Windows 7 sound cards and maybe others.
Unfortunately the laptop I bought this for has a curved front edge to the lid: the speaker does fit but is too easily knocked off in my situation. In any case, I think the clip could be a little 'deeper', but that might not be desirable for all laptop styles.
I wouldn't like to pay more than £20 for this item, but £20 might be peanuts to some eBayers.

Very useful whisk
This whisk is ideal for stirring liquids in a small pan like a milk saucepan, as it is small and the handle is light, so can be rested against the edge without falling out. It's also good for very light pans with a narrow circumference base that might be toppled over by a heavier whisk.
The silicone coating prevents scratching on non-stick pans and makes it very easy to wash.
I have a similar whisk which I have been using for several years, I bought this one "just in case" anything happens to the existing whisk, as I would be lost without it. I also bought one for a friend :)

Quite good, but...
1 of 1 found this helpful I buy this Targus cooler because it's the only one I've found that is closed underneath so it will work on a duvet. I'm using it with a 13" Clevo and there's less that an inch spare on each side, rather more front to back.
The cooler is well designed (you can thread the USB cable through to the other side to suit your laptop ports), and it's quite well made and fairly quiet.
However, I would have liked the fans to be a little stronger (would that make them louder?), I can't give you temps but feel it could be more effective - better than nothing, though.
After a couple of years the last one I had, the USB cable pulled away from its plug, exposing the wires - surprising, as it was hardly ever plugged in and out or tugged.
The laptop cooler market isn't awash with choice, for my needs, so I stick with this Targus.
