Works with caution

We have one that almost caught on fire that quit. We bought used one on eBay because we love that type of coffee maker. When we got product, we cleaned it and equipment. After couple run thru with water to see if worked, we ran into problem, red light and no work. A few minutes of fussing got to work. I took old one completely apart, did some repairs and now have 2 working. We now unplug both after use due to possible high heat damage later.
