Necessary in hard water areas.
Calgon is recommended by many washing machine manufactures to protect appliances from the effects of lime scale and prolong the life of the machine.
Whilst it should be possible to achieve similar effects by increasing the dose of washing powder used - it is much easier to simply use one calgon tablet every wash. Buying the tablets in bulk through EBay is cheaper than at the supermarket. I live in a hard water area and whilst my household taps show a build up of limescale I am confident that by using Calgon I am protecting my washing machine.

quality gas lighter
I am very pleased with the culinare gas lighter. It lights my gas hobs without difficulty, maybe not always the first spark, but usually after a couple of clicks. The product appears well made, and if treated properly I am sure the device will last a long time and prove more cost effective than matches. The item is made in Italy so isn't just a cheap far eastern copy. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lighter for a gas hob.

A timeless classic
Peter Gabriel’s first solo album shows just how talented a musician he is. There is a wide variety of different music styles on this album making the music interesting to listen to and keeps the listener captivated for the entire playing time. Music is subjective, but I think this album is brilliant, and despite it being released in 1977 the songs are as relevant and fresh today as they were back when the album was released. A timeless classic. If I was being picky the sound quality on my original vinyl album seems better than the digital transfer to cd - but the difference is only marginal.
