Far smaller cubes than the picture depicts
Picture by on eBay makes the cubes look far larger than they are.
It seems to be well made, just too fiddly

Different
Bought this for a primary school. Used by 5/6 yr olds.
It is a different texture and handling to 'dough' type. It did not dry out.
The children liked the feel and the stretch of the foam. Some found just squeezing and watching the foam move, to be fun.
Although it feels a bit sticky, it did not stick to their fingers.
They loved the vibrant colours.
The children found it was not easy to form objects.
Some of the beads did come away, but could be gathered up by pressing another piece of foam on them.
The colours did get mixed and could not be separated. In this case it does not matter as the children liked the effect, but may be a problem if the colours need to be kept separate.
Good for stretching and sqeezability, but not so good for modelling.
