Barmy but pleasant
I don't know if it was a fault in manufacture but there was the odd bit of picture juddering during scenes. That's the technical bit done...
I hadn't seen this before (!) but if you're prepared to yield to the bonkers unbelievability of the programme it's great. It's good to see acting heavyweights Heston and Stanwyck strut their stuff, too.

A Rattling Good Read
I've been following Rebecca Tope's Costwold mystery series from the outset and realised I had missed one out - Revenge. I bought an immaculate copy (from an excellent Ebay seller) to complete my collection and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though often dismissed as "cozy crime" I would disagree: Tope can be quite graphic when she chooses! The plots are plausible, the characters are credible and, in true Agatha Christie style, you have no idea whodunnit till the last. She's mistress of her craft and I would thoroughly recommend any of her novels to an initiate.

Thick and unpleasant
What a pity I have to give a star rating at all - no stars is the most approximate rating... This product is quite unpleasant: it is too thick (so it doesn't pour from the bottle easily), it stinks of some unnaturally synthetic chemical (I've never smelt a violet anything like as pongy as this) and it doesn't readily dissolve in hot water - it sat like a slurry until agitated. What a very disappointing waste of money, I threw it away.
