Exceptionally good price for what is becoming a must-have 4-5 hour lbattery
When I bought my Sony laptop these extended batteries were so expensive £100+, but they now seem more affordable. Maybe this dramatic drop in price is market driven, but nevertheless it is an absolute bargain. I have created a special power profile with windows 7 where the display does not blank out and the hard drive does not switch off. With this profile I can get 4.5 hours of laptop usage, which is really exciting. Switching back to a more sensible power profile will no doubt improve this usage figure still further. If I look after the battery and drain it from time to time and immediately recharge then I hope it will last me a long time. We shall see, but I like the 12 month warranty it comes with for peace of mind.
