DW 5500 Series 2 - Leg Hi Hat Stand

10/10. You need this pedal

I've wanted to switch to DW for years but there was nothing wrong with my old set up.. until there was. I picked up a 2nd hand DW8000 double pedal and it was a game changer, however it didn't feel right with my old hi hat stand. I found this DW5500 2 leg being sold here for the best price online and the rest is history.. It feels smoother while at the same time really robust. The adjustable spurs are a nice touch, the locking spring tensioner is really simple and discrete, the bottom felt being fixed is also a really nice addition.
