Great solution for large storage requirements
Incredible! RAID and USB single drive capability. Installed five 4.0TB drives and installation was snap - took a total of ten minutes. Set my unit up as RAID-1 for drive 1 & 2 (there I store critical data for the redundancy and backup protection offered by the RAID-1 configuration) and individual 3.0 USB drives for drives 3, 4 & 5. Connected to my USB 3.0 BUSS on one of my Windows computers and it mounted immediately. One additional note, I formatted all the drives as NTSF and used NTSF for Mac (Paragon Software) on all the Mac computers to mount the drived. I set all the drives as share drives via the Windows computer and now, all the drives mount as share volumes on all the networked Windows and Mac computers. Works perfectly. One-quarter the total cost of a 20TB NAS RAID system!
