This is not the OP retro card you're looking for. move along. A very useful tool, nonetheless.
Will allow you to POST, configure, and install an OS on just about any x86/x86-64 machine with a PCI slot. Sadly, only XP, Vista, and Linux drivers are officially available (x86 and x64 flavors, at least). Do note: The X1300 and X1550 PCI cards appear to use the same PEX8112 PCIe-PCI bridge chip found on most of your 'adapter' cards. In other words: If your system 'works' w/ it, your crazy ideas with a PCI-PCIe adapter on obsolete PCs probably will 'work' too.

The DP<->USB-C cable you probably need.
After going through 2 other brands of Bi-Direction DP1.4<->USB-C cables, I found that I should've gone with Club3D to start with. I've always found their cables to be of the best-availible quality, and often availible well-below retail here on eBay.

More perfect than expected. More efficient than newer lower power output adapters.
Considering most of these are several years old, they're still in great shape. Was staggered to find this old 90W power brick has a *much* better Power Factor (~0.94) than the much newer 45W Lenovo Charger. I use mine for a Lenovo Power Bank used w/ my Steam Deck.
