Accurately described and is a good replacement for the previous AEG
The previous AEG built in M/W only lasted 18 months before giving up and defeated the repairman. This one is more basic and without the grill so I hope it lasts. Why are built-ins such a premium price for what is only a surround to put it into a kitchen unit. It looks neat anyway so I'm contented.

Works well but lacks quality in manufacture and finish
0 of 1 found this helpful Considering that I bought it use with the Nespresso equipment the finish rather lets it down. In particular the bending of the metal to make the sliders is inconsistent and I fear the cartridges will fall out. As an aluminium extrusion it would have been much better. For the price it's OK as long as nobody looks too close at it.

It does a great job but with shortcommings
My first went one died within 8 months and I have not been able to get it repaired under guarantee but I am still trying.
The machine does a good job and with much better performance than the Flymo I had used for years which was heavy but switched from blowing to sucking by means of a switch. This Bosch one is a chore as it has to be dismantled and reassembled to change modes, that done it does the job very well and compacts the leaves into the bag very efficiently. As a blower it is easy to use and has a good blast.
There are design shortcomings. There is no cord tidy or any way to wrap the cord around the machine. It is difficult to store in the shed - it needs a hook or strap. The component with the knob tat screws into the machine is too small with rather sharp edges and any one with poor grip or movement issues would find this difficult to do.
In conclusion good but could - through design - be very good.
