nice controller for sous vide

the directions for setting it up are confusing however after reading some comments on Another site its actually simple to operate. i tried the ice bath calibration test and it registered right at 32.2F. good unit for not a lot of money.

Truly is plug and play

The item was preprogrammed for my car prior to shipping. This means i didn't have to purchase the cable required to connect the unit to my computer and do it myself. The pre-programming is IMHO worth the extra money. There is a video showing the installation of this item into a Chevy Tahoe which will show you the steps to connecting the unit to your vehicle as well as the placement of the connectors so you can reassemble the interior bits without any problems. The unit operates using your existing remote door lock/unlock key fob. Once the system is installed and activated you can easily change the systems operating parameters. The changes are made by entering into a menu in the system by way of a single button and confirmed by flashing lights on the unit itself. simple really. For my vehicle i change the default 15 min run time to 25 minutes which only took a couple of minutes to do. Simple to install with easy to change operating parameters, this unit is a good choice over the much more expensive (for me anyway) activation of the RP8 remote starter prep pkg that was already on my vehicle.
