The reamer tap good, but theaded insert seems to have limited life
1 of 1 found this helpful Reamer worked fine on aluminium cylinder head (lawnmower). However the threaded insert has started deteriorating after plug has been removed and replaced a few times - now difficult to hold plug in the insert threads. Probably OK as a one off replacement, but you may need better quality Helicoil solution as a permanent fixture.
