Not what you may expect
The music is great, of course, and the technical aspects of the main singing characters. But it comes across like a drunken party for the pleasure of Honor Blackman and Dennis Quilley, not for you and me to enjoy the story or the situations. Their diction is unclear;lots of mumbling and speaking away from the mike. They get in the way of singers and actually ruin a couple of famous songs.
Also, the overture is not played in full: only the 2-minute gallop (can-can) section. The most beautiful violin solo section is omitted.
Overall, this is not a recording for the lover of classical music. It comes across as a piece of entertainment to appeal to a modern generation who never heard opera before.
I regret buying it now.

As described, arrived on time, economical but .
It is not very robust. In fact, flimsy. You can't stretch it over mattress corners or else it will tear. Treat it gently, and it's fine.
