Open Your Eyes...
This is obviously an unofficial documentary - It says it on the front cover!
Why didn't the official releases include something fun like this?
The DVD version is "interactive" - it asks you questions from the books (not the films) so only genuine fans get to move on to the next chapter - wrong answers get told off!
Load of trivia pops up during each segment about how and where characters get their names etc.
I recognise the presenter from the BBC - so there is some professionalism here. I thought the camera work and editing were good, they picked similar angels used in the film so the locations in the tour were recognisable.
Looking at the year it was made (2003), explains why it only goes up to the third film, shame as there is obviously more material that could be covered at a later date.
The extras are fun - the books on the back of the main menu page play noises, their are hidden extras like a blooper reel and photographs all over the wizards table.
What do you expect? Its a little bit of fun, that has been really well researched for fans of Harry Potter.
Head and shoulders above the other unofficial products.
