Excellent Air Rifle
3 of 3 found this helpful I read many reviews of Crossman air rifles and the Optimus was rated very highly. Now I understand why! It is an excellent piece of machinery. Sturdy build, quality throughout and a scope that was very easy to sight in.
It is a single shot, one pump rifle which is exactly what I wanted. The velocity for pest control is right on at 1200 fps with the recommended pellets (not BBs).
The cocking process takes some strength, as was pointed out by other reviewers, but not excessive. One pump is a vast improvement of the 3-10 pumps many rifles require.
I highly recommend this air rifle for pest control as well as target shooting.
