It's not very strong - that's why it's described as lightweight. I'd prefer a heavyweight / metal one, but they're not easy to find!
I obtained this one as a replacement after the first one cracked/split. I think I cracked it while removing it late one night (after I heard the weather forecast of an overnight frost!).
It won't stand a frost - not unless you've disconnected it and removed the water within.
Once installed, it's good and it's easy to use - as long as your fingers are strong enough to turn the tight-to-turn orange valves.

This product WAS a good product, but sadly it is no longer in production. If you order one, you'll get sent the later model - which sadly is sub-standard in usability by comparison AND it requires a 9volt battery (supplied) despite it being connected to your electrical lighting supply!
