Nice pedal
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice pedal, especially if you after the Stevie Ray Vaughan vibe. Ibanez has been making these pedals for a long time and they are still very popular. Great for overdriving a tube amp. The pedal is a classic and is well made.

Great little amp for practice and small gigs
2 of 2 found this helpful This little amp is quite versatile and is louder than you might think a 5 watt all tube amp might be. It has two channels a clean and overdrive and comes with a footswitch for switching between them. The amp has an ISF feature that changes its sound between british or american tube sound. It is built quite solid, is light and has metal corners to save it when transporting. The internal ten-inch speaker is 16-ohms and you can add other 8 or 16-ohm cabinets to use with it. One very nice features is the emulated cabinet output for recording and headphone use making this amp an ideal recording and practice amp.
Blackstar has sounds that are a bit like a Mesa-Boogie or Marshall in a small compact size and price, but can sound a bit like a Fender on the clean channel.
My only complains are it lacks a built-in reverb, but this is easy to fix as it has a built-in effects loop so you can easily add a reverb pedal (I have one on order). My other minor complaint is the foot pedal's cable is a bit short, but just the fact that it is included and not an option like many other amps is a plus!
