Lenovo USB 56K v.92 Fax Modem

Not many understand that Fax is NOT dead..! Signed documents and so on still verified for Fax ... ie. Solicitors and Doctors etc. Great to be able to send Fax's again via my VoIP provider's Fax servers, and it works great on my 4G broadband router/modem. Thanks.

Cheap, but be wary about it's capabilities until new firmware release.

This Belkin Router was quite easy to setup as a WiFi Access Point, which is why I purchased it, and it does this ok on 2.4GHz, but 5GHz is left untested. The uPnP and Torrent seem to work, but this is not tested yet as I have a NAS with all this setup. The first problem seems to be the Clock, and the NTP sites meant to sync it. These cannot be changed, and only one from the list can be 'pinged', but does not work. This means the clock is always set to January 1, 1970 to start with, and no other way to change it. Also, linked to this, there is no menu for setting or viewing Logs in Access Point Mode. It does seem that Belkin are having problems with the Firmware with this router, as there has been only one release, and this is "Pre-Release Firmware", so it seems that there is no plan to release any further updates. The 'Auto Update' feature does not connect to the Belkin server. You can pick up one of these routers new very cheaply, but you'll be stuck if you want to do much more with it until someone releases a new update.
