Unique Theme - Good Viewing
1 of 1 found this helpful I became interested in this movie because I had heard that it was John Wayne's last movie before dying of cancer. Interestingly, the main theme of the movie is that John Wayne's character, The Shootist, has colon cancer and is dying. That intrigued me. It is a rare subject to appear in movies in general and westerns specifically. Ron Howard plays the role of a young man that admires the gun slinger but learns lessons from The Shootist and grows as a person. The plot had an obvious gap concerning the affection that Ron Howard's character and his mother, played by Lauren Bacall, develop for The Shootist.
I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to viewers who enjoy intelligent western themes.

Fast & Easy & It Delivers!
I bought this cable modem to replace the one that I had been paying for monthly from Time Warner Cable. This was a model that was on TWC's list of acceptable modems. It had the features I needed at a reasonable price.
When I decided to replace the leased modem I went on YouTube to see what I would have to do to replace the modem and get it functioning. The video showed how easy it would be so I went ahead and made the purchase. As soon as I received it I unpacked it, wrote down the serial number and MAC address. I attached the cable and power supply to it, called the cable provider, gave them the serial number and MAC address, and away I went.
The modem is fast, easy to install, and reasonably priced. It will pay for itself in 11 months.
I recommend this modem AND the decision to buy your cable modem instead of leasing it.

Under-powered
Under-powered to be effective outdoors. Not practical for indoor use. Perhaps useful in the garage.
