Perfect Replacment
I was very happy with the Genie Silent Max 1200 that I purchased in 2014. Unfortunately, we had a wind storm in January 2021 that took down the high voltage line (13KV) and a surge blew out the pcb board. It was more cost effective and less time consuming to go with a whole new Silent Max 1200 unit than to replace the board and reprogram the remotes. All I had to do was swap out the power head and install an updated wall switch. Done... All in about little over a half an hour. Couldn't be happier. Also, added a surge protector in line with the new opener to prevent this from ever happening again.
