ACTUAL SUPPORT and they are COMFORTABLE
What sux is, they are made in China
BUT, for a DAY IN AND DAY OUT workshoe, this is a GREAT SHOE so far.
Before getting these, was wearing Sketchers... WORST. SHOE. EVER.
I do have a pair of Thorogood USA Made Military Oxfords and... I love them . They aren't the most stylish, but they are comfortable. Wish the soles were a little more durable, but that's the beauty of Goodyear Welted Shoes...
For under $100, these are a really solid wearing and supportive shoe.

The Base Standard Lens To Have In Your Kit!
2 of 2 found this helpful 50mm lenses are sometimes misunderstood and under-appreciated.
For fashion and commercial photographers, it's a near ideal lens for people photography, especially when doing 3/4 or full length compositions. A well designed/ made 50mm lens shouldn't offer any noticeable distortions AT ALL, which is why it's usually best to stick with your native camera maker's lens for the 50mm.
The Nikon 50mm 1.4D is a fantastic lens. Is it better than the equivalent Canon? I don't know, my Nikon D200 doesn't take Canon lenses. But it does have excellent resolve and works beautifully for that aforementioned 3/4-full length shot.
Is it better than Sigma's 50mm 1.4? Well, don't know that either. Do know that Sigma's 50mm offering is VERY well reviewed, but is almost $500, whereas I got this for under $300. The Nikon is a SMALLER lens, which can be an important factor when working on location. Would like to check out the Sigma one day.
For me, the Nikon is fitting in perfectly with my kit. It flawlessly -talks- with my camera, so focusing isn't an issue and neither is SB-Flash information. It's also MADE IN JAPAN. These days, much of the optics for Nikon are being farmed out to CHINA, which MAY influence a future purchase when it comes time to upgrade... may look into a different system.
But for now... this IS an excellent upgrade/ addition to my kit.

Awesome Debut Album From Jason Newsted
m/
From the ex-bassist of Metallica comes his debut album!
It's Four To The Floor, riff heavy Rockn' Metal. Old school thrash. Music to skate n' grind too and it's fantastic. Besides being an amazing bassist, Jason is also an awesome singer with a deeper baritone snarl.
This is really a FUN and a ROCKIN' album with a ton of really solid tunes. I've got the CD in my car for the last month and it really is great. If you are fan of Metallica as well as Metal Music, you really owe it to yourself to give this a listen. It flew a bit under the radar when it came out, but this riffs harder than most of what is being put out, even by Metallica.
