My Kef Audio Q1's give a well balanced and easy to listen to experience.
These speakers combine the traditional Tanoy 'Dual Concentric' idea with an assimetric 'streamlined' cabinet to produce what is both an appealing appearance as well as an efficient driver/enclosure package that produces a very 'listenable' sound.
I use them as front speakers for my 'kitchen' home theatre system and they certainly welcome me in the morning to a well balanced early morning introduction to televised and Radio 3 material.
In comparison to my £9000 main home theatre system downstairs or my Mark Levinson garage system or indeed to my Musical Fidelity/PMC bedroom system, these speakers provide the easy listening experience that you need in any kitchen system when you wake up. However, this is not to say that they're not fun-to-listen-to.
So for the £129 that I spent on these speakers on e-bay....I'm very pleased indeed.

Diminutive little giant of a lens!
This lens is a diminutive little giant! Although it needs careful focussing when wide open, nevertheless when you get it right, it must be one of the sharpest lenses that Nikon have ever made. And it gets even better when closed down to f2 or f2.8! So my advice is to forget about a new auto-focus model and go for this little baby!
