Works on XP and real serial port to read XTS3000. Have not tried to write to the radio but it seems like it would work equally well.

Does the job as well as you could expect for $11
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a simple UHF analog radio. It does that job pretty well. I subtracted a star because received audio is a little scratchy. If it's anything like a BF-888s this can be solved by resoldering the speaker wire. But for the price it's a functional radio. Comes with some FRS frequencies programmed thankfully. To reprogram requires a cable sold separately. Software is free online. Transmitted signal is clear enough. I have not tested the range but these generally do really well considering the antenna is a coil.
