Cost effective means to open a Mac Air
For me this product is a cost effective way of gaining access to an Apple Mac Air for maintenance purposes. It is not suitable for frequent/repetitive use because the tip is brittle - but one should not expect this for the price. Also, I may have been a little heavy handed. If the tip does break then it is possible to restore it by filing the end off square due to the cross-sectional nature of the tip. I have done this couple of times having accessed (opened and closed) my Mac Air about 5 times. I would recommend this product for performing a one-off repair on a device.

Good quality product with super-slick winding..

Does what it should
This cable enabled me to modify an old PC and set up two IDE hard drives up in RAID 1 configuration. Plenty long enough without too much excess.
