Awesome well-built inflator
2 of 2 found this helpful I love the new hanging/hook feature on this latest inflater. The handle is very comfortable and the head fully rotates for the best handling position to inflate the tires. I have several bicycles and should have bought this great unit long ago. I use to dread airing up the tires with my hand pump, I would sweat a bucket as I pumped again and again and again... well no longer! My tires would frequently become unseated on the rim due to not inflating and the air leaking out eventually. I can hardly wait to air up the tires now!

Quiet is the Word
I did a lot of research on many different brands and capabilities. I could not find the perfect unit with all my requirements; Quiet, Powerful, Portable, Low Amp/Power Draw, Two Outlets, Big Gauges, Nice Control, Excellent Quality Components and a Very Beautiful Functional Unit/Panel... until I found California Air. This unit meets all the criteria I was looking for and now that I have plugged it in and used it, I'm even more impressed! I don't know about the longevity yet but it appears that it will last many many years. I could not be happier with my purchase. The unit arrived very quickly and is packaged incredibly well in styrofoam, double-boxed, 4 straps and showed up like it was off the showroom floor. Not a ding, not a scratch. I put the wheels on, the rear stabilizing rubber mount, air filters and plugged her in. Everything works perfectly and it stopped and started automatically within it's manufacture range, no problem. However it is not a continuous duty unit. Recommendations say it can run for an hour then must be off to cool for a period. I doubt this will be any problem. I keep this unit in my garage and surrounding area (a residential neighborhood) and is used mostly for inflating purposes but I'll also use for auto work, wheel removal, etc. I do not plan to use for commercial work (nailer nor painting) but I think it would be just fine. The thing is, I can use in my garage and you cannot hear it outside at all. My neighbors appreciate that so much! And did I mention it looks and performs equally as well! You will not be disappointed.

Submarines Administer "Death from Below"!
The engraving is deep with great relief and the colors are vivid. I keep one in my pocket all the time to remind me of being on submarines and a second coin to save on my night stand.
