Xperia 5 ii, an excellent alternative to the other high end phones

Excellent high end phone. Beautiful OLED display, excellent camera with a 70 mm optical zoom, 16 mm wide angle and 24 mm normal Zeiss lenses all with excellent resolution. The professional photo mode has adjustability for every photo parameter. Picture quality as good or better than iPhone and Pixel 5. Sound quality is superior without headphones. Will tune practically every radio frequency with good reception. Videos are smooth at 1080p. Headphone jack is a plus. Overall build quality very high with gorilla glass front and back. Pleasing form factor and nice to hold in the hand. Rivals the Samsung S20 without the bloat wear. Screen brightness slightly less than the Samsung.

OEM replacement for 1020 screen and LCD

The 1020 LCD and screen replacement was an exact fit. It would have been better had it had come with the plastic frame to which it had to be glued and a T4 star bit. Most of the time was spent in separating the old screen from the existing plastic frame to which it was glued, then regluing the new LCD/screen to the frame. Actual performance of the new LCD/screen was perfect.
