Wonderful book - buy it & create amazing pieces
This book is everything that’s advertised and much much more. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. 1st, it’s filled with learning all the stitches, techniques & tips you’ll need to create the beautiful landscape & flower artwork pieces that are detailed step by step in the 2nd half of the book. They are as the pictures show but even more appealing as you see how easy they are to create. Even a beginner would find the numerous picture tutorials in this book easy to follow, so don’t pass it by if you’re new to embroidery. And for the more practiced embroiderer, the book excites you immediately you scan through it, & you just want to pick up needle & thread immediately to create what will become treasured family heirlooms they are so pretty & of course handmade by you. They will also make beautifully special gifts, so I can see myself making repeats for that purpose as well as crafting my own set of all 15 items covered in the book. In addition, I can already see where I can create variations of these 15 by mixing the patterns, e.g. by simply adding the red admiral butterfly (my absolute favourite thing to create in the book) to a different flower picture will change the finished look. AND working these patterns can be used to embellish other items as well, e.g. cushions, table runners, bags, pincushions, quilt squares, whatever. So don’t hesitate to buy this book. You won’t be disappointed.

Great book that will have you creating lovely things right away
This book is great. It's 30 years since I last knotted any macramé, & the picture tutorials & guidance in this book has me up & running again right away. It would be perfect for a beginner as it's so easy to follow & they would be able to make the knots & patterns within it quickly. It's also perfect if you're a returner to macrame as I am, & the patterns are not too simple that even a practiced knotter would find items to make within it's pages. I chose well when I chose this book which is true to the description & photos advertising it. Love it. you will too.
