Fast gate problems

I was looking for a chip with fast rise times and was impressed with this one, However the fast (4ns on my scope) rise and fall times produce an ugly 'ring' or 'overshoot' with the scope probes attached, which I assume is impedance mismatch. Most of the solutions suggested on the web did not work, but adding a low ohm resistor (50 to 150 ohms, trial and error) in series with the output gate cleaned up the signal with only a small reduction in speed (rise/fall times at 8ns)

Proof at last.

Of the millions of UFO sightings over the years, most seem to be reported by small groups of individuals, often with little or no evidence to back up their claims. These unfortunate people will almost always be ridiculed for simply reporting what they saw. But the Walton case is different. At last we have a UFO sighting where a group of seven individuals all observed a UFO, CLOSE UP, and all took polygraph ('lie detector') tests, often more than once, and were ALL proven to be telling the truth! This kind of evidence has been used in (US) courts and is considered sufficiently reliable to convict people in criminal cases! There will always be skeptics who insist that it was a hoax and try to belittle the incident, usually by attacking the character of the people involved while conveniently ignoring the polygraph results (even the polygraph examiners themselves have come in for some of this) but to any open-minded person, the evidence should be conclusive: These people were simply telling the truth about what they saw. This documentary details this, with first-hand testimony from some of the original participants (while such testimony is still available; some of the original seven have died) and is an important addition to the growing body of evidence for what many believe to be the truth. We are not alone. .
