Time will tell
The fitting this replaced was all metal and we used to get some issues with rust. The base of these hinges are hard plastic (ABS?), so might be better than the old ones. The plastic part is covered by the metal cap. Only time will tell if they last as long.

A few tips
Very good quality. Couple of things to note. Mine arrived with one box labelled colour grey and the other colour blue. It turned out the one labelled blue was the mdf shelves, which have no colour so it didn't matter. The instructions are in the shelf box. There isn't an instruction for fitting the supports that go in the middle of the shelf, but it's pretty obvious how they work. I managed to put the shelves together on my own. Most of the assembly is very easy. The only tricky part (and this is pointed out in the instructions) is fitting the second set of uprights. I found assembling one corner at a time with the upright, short and long side all loosely connected, then knocking the locking pins into place, was the easiest. Once you have one done the others are easier. The tabs on the middle shelf supports may need a knock with a rubber mallet to bend them so they're at right-angles to the support and will fit into the slots in the long side support. Very sturdy and smart looking once assembled and well worth the money. PS Ignore the YouTube video where the presenter says they're a nightmare to put together. Seriously, a child could complete most of the assembly!
