fast and versatile
great little mirrorless camera. I've owned 4 Lumix cameras now and this is the largest and best. Micro four thirds is a pretty good format that can't compete with full frame kit in my opinion, but it's much lighter and cheaper.
The Lumix G9 feets like a smaller entry level DSLR but is tougher and fully featured with very good auto focus, a decent screen and the controls that you'd expect from a semi-pro DLSR.
I'm very impressed with it. It won't replace my full frame canon for some work, but for family photos and when I'm out and about it's great. With the right lenses it's a great piece of kit. Results with a prime lens or decent portrait glass are very good and the reach with a 400mm lens is excellent.
