Absolutely Fantastic. a godsend , easy to programme and extremely versatile
The best all in one remote available.
connect it to a pc/mac and download the my harmony software, then programme the remote just by adding it by name/model number. its that simple. the remote then contains all the functions of your original remotes. Yes it takes a little while to get used to the different button positions, but all the features are on the touch screen. you can also adjust and reprogramme it to do multiple things on each device. for instance you could use it to control a Virgin tivo box and have the volume adjust a separate soundbar or amplifier on the same setting. theres also "activities which groups the devices and actions into Macros, which means you can hit one button and have the remote do multiple things on one press
.eg. Turn on tv/select hdmi 1/ switch virgin box to 204 (netflix) .
This remote will also find older equipment too, it found my 1990,s cd player and camcorder.
You will nee the Hub ( harmony ultimate) bundle) only if your equipment is tucked away out of sight of the ir beam, or you have RF controlled devices, otherwise the remote controls all devices it can see within its range.Generally the Harmony ultimate one is the best model to go for.

looking for a very cheap balanced cable..before spending £100+ on a custom one ??.. this should do
purchased to use on a set of oppo pm3 headphones into a pioneer xdp100/300 digital audio player..
the pins on this cable are wired pin to pin (identical on each end)
this cable works when the player is on ACG mode.
soundstage is extremely wide.. but vocals seem a little wide and unfocussed too. this could be part of the Balanced sound experience, but it is a little offputting when you first swap from balanced to unbalanced.
also youll probably need to trim down the plastic surround on the 3.5mm end as it may not fit into a socket, its very fat..
other than that..go for it. its a bargain price to psay for a balanced cable to try out before you spend £100 plus on a bespoke one.

The best small speaker under£1k

Quite simply the best small speaker ive ever owned or heard.
They cope with everything well.. The bass is much better than expected .. Treble is smooth and mids cope with vocals lovely.
When compared to similar wharfedale 9.1 they smash them out of the park.. If you have the budget and room.. Go for the modeol up , with a bigger driver and cabinet. But if space is premium these will fill a normal sized living room with medium level sound.. They struggle when they get really loud.. But at wife friendly levels they are bloody superb
