Produces quality images
Sigma EX AF is a great lens for shooting portraits at a medium distance. It produces beautiful and quality images. If you buy this lens you will be truly satisfied. It has aperture of 2.8 which is pretty low for any lens above 85mm.

Very decent lens
The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 28-80mm lens is an inexperience lens that provides a great variety in range.
28mm for wide angle shots, 35mm and 50mm great for portraits and landscape shots and 80mm for close-up portraits. Decent aperture 3.3 to 5.6 for solid images.
