Nice but weird scale
Nice detail but Revell's obsession with scaling kits to fit inside a standard box is maddening!!!
This kit would have been beautiful in a scale closer to 1/100 or 1/144 or any scale that matches the other Revell star Wars vehicles.

New and improved!!!
Beautifully. Round2 has made quite a few corrections. I originally bought this kit because I was building the old AMT kit I got as a gift. My intent was to cannibalize this kit to correct the old kit I had started. However, once I saw how nice this kit was I couldn't do it! So I decided to build this kit fully lighted as the NCC 2000 and make the old kit a display static model with a few custom-made corrections as the NX2000. I can use the NX2000 bridge included in this kit and the impulse crystal to complete my old kit. Only one issue within the past year I found that this kit as well as other Round2 kits have been increasing in price at a higher rate than other plastic scale models.

1 of 1 found this helpful Although a bit old in the tooth this still is a good kit, and one well worth buying. It´s up to anyone what amount of modifications to apply. The kit provides a enough space and a good base to spruce up with aftermarket PE etc. but can be built into a nice-looking model out of the box.
