Suunto MC-2 D/L IN/NH Mirror Sighting Compass

Excellent compass for those navigation beginners

This is an excellent quality for a compass from Suunto. If you're a beginner like me, this is a great tool to practice with. The only issues I have with this compass is when setting declination, the arrow marker takes over quite a bit of area and it is hard to discern the details on the scale. I double check both sides to make sure I'm on the correct degree. The "mirror" is not really a mirror like in those flip up pocket mirrors for makeup. I would call it more of a "reflective surface" instead but it's enough to show the arrows when you're doing a sight bearing. Overall, excellent compass

An awesome camera for the mid-budget buyers!

I always see Canon cameras as a high standard camera packed with features and great hardware. This particular camera is also one of them. Don't let the seemingly "low" megapixels this camera can do. It is not always about the megapixels because I've seen cameras that have 8 or even higher that cannot seem to do anything well with the amount of resolution it takes in. Unlike Canon, it seems to take what it can and even add more. One of the best features I like was the digital macro feature, meaning taking pictures very up close. This helps me take better pictures of items I would sell. There's a lot more features in here such as taking B & W pics and videos. I managed to buy this camera complete with a bundle at such a great price (under $200!!) I highly recommend this camera.
